Awkward Situation of the Week: Erica accidentally meets a snowboarder and plans for her eventual kidnapping with her mom.

This Week's Questions:

  • Michelle (22/SF) asks, "Hi awkward humans. My name is Michelle and my bf likes to check out other girls when we go out in public. He tells me he loves me and I'm not jealous or anything...but I still get bothered when he does it. I don't want to break up over this or anything but I don't know what to say to him or how to think about it differently. I trust him so why do I feel like this?"
  • Anonymous (GM/20s) asks, "Aloha Awkward Human Survival Guide Crew, Jumping right in, I got myself a stalker that I don't know what to do about. I used to go to a laundromat where this guy would not get off my ass like almost literally. He'd sit next to me because "it's a free country" and if I'd move he'd move. I switched laundromats and that took care of it until he found me at the new one. I almost called the police but then said he's sorry. After a talk it sounded like this guy was just lonely and just thought I was into aggressive men (like it turned me on). He just wanted to get a drink sometime because he was new in town so I said OK. We made plans and he was an all right guy. I met him for coffee maybe like twice a month for half a year before it got weird again. When we started hanging I kept details a secret most of the time. Like if he asked what I was doing on the weekend or future plans I was vague. Just after a while of doing that you know how it starts to feel paranoid? Yah and one time I told him about this local comedy show I like that I had tickets to and he was like "I love them too!" and claimed he had tickets so I was like let's get dinner before. Like keep in mind that after 6 months or something you would not be thinking this guy was a stalker anymore. We get food and go to the show. My tickets were at will call because they charge that online convenience fee and if I can save some cash I save it, like nbd to go to the booth. It's free laundry. The show was good and I had a real good time with actually. Thing is he showed up at my apartment building on the weekend and just waited outside for me for I think hours. I can't say as a fact but I think he dug out my ticket envelope from the trash when I went to the bathroom and got my address and just showed up. I thought something was wrong or it was a coincidence but he got into all his feelings for me but it was like hearing about another person. Like he just created the character and decided I was its body so he could live with it. I told him to leave me alone and it's not cool to do that. He freaked out so I called the police and he went away. Nothing for a year. Two weeks ago I think I see somebody that looks like him but with much different hair and fashion. I call the police to file a restraining order just to be careful. I get a call later to be told that I gave them a name of a dead person. Maybe this guy stole an identity or its some messed up coincidence but I am very freaked out. The police can't do a lot if we don't even know this is the guy and my friends have no idea. Kind of a long shot to ask a podcast but do you have any ideas? I can't afford to move anywhere right now. I'm still saving but I'm poor so I gotta stay put for a few more years."
  • Dale C. (29/SM) asks, "Hey, I was on Tinder and super liked my friend by mistake. She and I fucked in college, I got feelings about it, she didn't, we called it off before any shit went down. Soon as I did this I deleted my account. Would've deleted it 10X to avoid her getting notified. Do you know if she gets a notice if I delete my account in time? I know I can tell her the story but not sure if she will buy it with our history. Don't want to fuck or date. Total mistake. If she'll find out about it how do I get her to believe it was a real honest mistake? Thanks guys, you rock."

Final Thoughts: Do you microcheat?
